Add EightOS to Slack
Anyone can sign up — there is no waitlist.
What the app does in Slack
EightOS is an AI agent you chat with in the EightOS web app. Once you connect Slack, it works in your workspace on your request:
- Summarize conversations — catch up on a channel or thread: key updates, decisions and open questions.
- Find information — look up messages, channels, files and people across the channels the app can access.
- Post on your behalf — draft and send messages, replies and reactions to the channels you choose.
- Scheduled reports— for example, “every weekday at 9 AM, summarize #sales and post it to #team”, or deliver it inside EightOS only.
- Work across tools — combine Slack with your CRM, email, calendar and docs in one request.
The app only acts when you or a schedule you created asks it to. It does not read your workspace in the background unless you turn on Company Brain memory for Slack.
How to install
- Create an account at app.eightos.xyz/signup and verify your email.
- Open Integrations and choose Slack — or type “Connect to Slack” in the chat.

AI-generated content
EightOS uses large language models. AI-generated responses and summaries may be inaccurate or incomplete — review important information before you rely on it or act on it, and check messages before the app posts them where that matters.
